Our Funny Children

I think that Tyson and Owen have been getting pretty restless being inside so much. Maybe its cabin fever, I really don't know. What I do know is that the boys are trying to find new ways to pass the time. They have become pretty creative with the long winter. Here are some pictures of their recent activities.

Here is Tyson thinking he is pretty funny. He loves those little plastic things.

Owen has some hairy armpits, but he looks cute, so its OK.

Tyson was very, very happy to be playing in the huggies box.

Im not sure if Owen was happy or not, but he seemed to enjoy the box.

They started a new game of burying each other in the shoe box, Owen loved it

Here is Tyson, he really got buried, but he thought it was pretty funny

President Gordon B. Hinckley

We are saddened by the news of president Hinckley's passing, yet rejoicing for him and his reunion with his wife Marjorie, I could only imagine how much rejoice he is feeling. He was a great leader and example to anyone who knew of him. He had a great love for the work and a great spirit. He had a great sense of humor and could make a room smile just by his presence. I only hope that we can live up to his expectations. He will be missed, but the wonderful thing about the church is the work will go on and we will meet again.

New Fish Tank

Ok so we bought the boys a fish tank for a late christmas early birthday present. They love fish, every time we go to a pet store, they don't really care about the other animals, they only want to see the fish. So we thought we would buy a small 5 gallon tank for them. The tank has been cycling empty for the past two days and the boys didnt really know what to think about it. like there was something missing. so we went to the store today and bought some guppys. They are really pretty fish and they say they are hardy so hopefully we dont kill them.

In the bottom picture I tried to get a close up on the fish but that is hard with the flash. in this picture on the top you have angel and underneath you have doodle who has a twin brother name diddle. they are the playful two. the other ones not in view are sunny, who is orange and yellow diddle who I already talked about, and buzzard who has a yellow tail with black polka dots.

There is also a few new things the boys are doing, besides being new pet owners. They love to tickle each other. the will raise there hands in the air and then chase the other one wigging their fingers. it is really cute, then the other one lands on the couch where they get tickled to death. The other thing is just what owen is doing. lately he has been waking up in the night and not going back down very easy. well it took me a few days but I finally figured out what he wants at 2, 3 or 4 am. Every night before we go to bed he likes to chose what binky he gets. well in the middle of the night he gets sick of that binky and wont go back to sleep until he choses a new one. so now I just pick him up and let him chose a binky and then he goes right back to sleep. I really hope this is just a phase because with a new baby on the way I don't really want to still be getting up with the boys.
As far as the pregnancy is going. I am doing really well. I don't feel near as sick as I did my first pregnancy but I am way more tired then I remember being, by like five I am worthless. That could be due to chasing two toddlers around all days. I am hopeful that this will be a good pregnancy and maybe we will only have one this time so we can be somewhat normal. So far it is looking good.

The Marx Brothers

Actually, it's more like little duplicates of Groucho, but its still funny. We have had these glasses for a long time, but the boys have never really wanted to put them on. Tonight they decided to try them on, and we were lucky enough to get a few pictures. Here you go.

Here is Tyson, I think he was a little confused at the moment.
Here is Owen. He looks like the old man playing chess against himself in the pixar short.

The Best Christmas Gift

The best Christmas gift we got actually came two days after Christmas. We found out that Tiffany is pregnant with our third child. She is now 5 weeks along, and we couldn't be more excited. We didn't have a picture of the baby, so we thought we might add the countdown with the baby's estimated picture in it. We will try to keep everyone updated about the pregnancy and everything through the blog. It was a very merry Christmas indeed.

Christmas in Sandpoint

Wow, its been a while since we have posted anything. Sorry about the delayed postings. We have been pretty busy lately. We went to Sandpoint to celebrate Christmas with Tiffanys family, it was very fun. The boys got a chance to see a lot more snow then they do here in Utah (there was a lot of snow when we got there, and it snowed all but the last two days we were there.) Here are a few pictures of us outside enjoying the snow.

This is all of us getting ready to do some sledding. The boys kind of enjoyed the hill, the only problem was the snow kept spraying them on the face as they went down. They didn't enjoy that quite so much.

This is Tyson outside in the snow. He was really bundled up well, but he still looked pretty cold.

This is Owen in the snow. We were pulling both of them in the sled that he is sitting on. Owen loved riding in it, but Tyson wasn't a huge fan. He got out at one point and wanted to pull Owen around. It was pretty cute.
This was outside of Ken and Paulas house. They have a great hill to go sledding. This was New Years Eve, we were getting the hill ready for our New Years day sledding just after midnight. It was a lot of fun.

The boys did pretty well opening Christmas presents. The only problem we had is that with each present they opened, they only wanted to play with that one, and didn't care about the rest of their presents. It took a little while, but I think they got the hang of it towards the end. Its so funny that the cheapest and simplest presents were some of their favorites. They got a set of cheap Walkie-Talkies that are like flip cell phones, and they didn't want to put those down for anything. They also got a little plastic flashlight in a set of tools, and they fight over it all the time. I guess we should have gotten two.

This was Christmas morning. If the boys look a little tired, its because they were. We were woken up at 7 by Tiffany, she let us sleep in. She played Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas CD really loud. I think we looked pretty good considering the circumstance.

Owen and Tyson absolutely loved those cell phones. They would just sit there and jabber constantly into them. Owen generally acted like it was a fairly serious conversation, while Tyson would occasionally do a slight laugh and make it sound like the other person said something funny. They are so cute.

This is Owen at the Christmas eve party. I'm not sure what he thought about the antlers, but he wore them for a little while.

This is Tyson being kind of nerdy. He kept jumping in the box and acting silly.
