The Marx Brothers

Actually, it's more like little duplicates of Groucho, but its still funny. We have had these glasses for a long time, but the boys have never really wanted to put them on. Tonight they decided to try them on, and we were lucky enough to get a few pictures. Here you go.

Here is Tyson, I think he was a little confused at the moment.
Here is Owen. He looks like the old man playing chess against himself in the pixar short.

The Best Christmas Gift

The best Christmas gift we got actually came two days after Christmas. We found out that Tiffany is pregnant with our third child. She is now 5 weeks along, and we couldn't be more excited. We didn't have a picture of the baby, so we thought we might add the countdown with the baby's estimated picture in it. We will try to keep everyone updated about the pregnancy and everything through the blog. It was a very merry Christmas indeed.

Christmas in Sandpoint

Wow, its been a while since we have posted anything. Sorry about the delayed postings. We have been pretty busy lately. We went to Sandpoint to celebrate Christmas with Tiffanys family, it was very fun. The boys got a chance to see a lot more snow then they do here in Utah (there was a lot of snow when we got there, and it snowed all but the last two days we were there.) Here are a few pictures of us outside enjoying the snow.

This is all of us getting ready to do some sledding. The boys kind of enjoyed the hill, the only problem was the snow kept spraying them on the face as they went down. They didn't enjoy that quite so much.

This is Tyson outside in the snow. He was really bundled up well, but he still looked pretty cold.

This is Owen in the snow. We were pulling both of them in the sled that he is sitting on. Owen loved riding in it, but Tyson wasn't a huge fan. He got out at one point and wanted to pull Owen around. It was pretty cute.
This was outside of Ken and Paulas house. They have a great hill to go sledding. This was New Years Eve, we were getting the hill ready for our New Years day sledding just after midnight. It was a lot of fun.

The boys did pretty well opening Christmas presents. The only problem we had is that with each present they opened, they only wanted to play with that one, and didn't care about the rest of their presents. It took a little while, but I think they got the hang of it towards the end. Its so funny that the cheapest and simplest presents were some of their favorites. They got a set of cheap Walkie-Talkies that are like flip cell phones, and they didn't want to put those down for anything. They also got a little plastic flashlight in a set of tools, and they fight over it all the time. I guess we should have gotten two.

This was Christmas morning. If the boys look a little tired, its because they were. We were woken up at 7 by Tiffany, she let us sleep in. She played Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas CD really loud. I think we looked pretty good considering the circumstance.

Owen and Tyson absolutely loved those cell phones. They would just sit there and jabber constantly into them. Owen generally acted like it was a fairly serious conversation, while Tyson would occasionally do a slight laugh and make it sound like the other person said something funny. They are so cute.

This is Owen at the Christmas eve party. I'm not sure what he thought about the antlers, but he wore them for a little while.

This is Tyson being kind of nerdy. He kept jumping in the box and acting silly.

Winter Fun

Ok everyone, we had our first real snowfall so we thought we would add some pictures of the boys playing in the snow, we also added some other random pictures. I am not a huge fan of the snow but the boys had a lot of fun so that made it a little bit more bearable. Ty didn't like getting in his snow gear but after he got out there he thought it was a lot of fun. Owen thought it was so funny yesterday while it was snowing every time a snowflake hit his cheek he would giggle, so he was excited to get out and play in it.

This is the boys together in the helping shovel the sidewalk.

Here is Ty all bundled up to play! Here is Owen loving the snow!

Ok i was knocking the snow off the bush and they wanted to help so dad was taking pictures

We got early open presents from Great Grandpa and Grandma Regnier this weekend,so the boys got to get a glimpse of opening presents again, they were cute little Christmas books, which was PERFECT because they love books.
Here is Ty sitting on Grandma's lap before we went to cousin jamie's baptism.

Here is Grandma and Owen in his suit.
This was funny because Grandma and Grandpa Chapin had just got here in the middle of the night so when the boys woke up they were being all shy like always around people they haven't seen in a while, although the second Grandpa got out the laptop they went and sat down like he was their best friend.
Well, we had a pretty good weekend, I hope the rest of you who got the winter storm had as much fun. we are looking forward to more fun this holiday season and will keep you posted.

Favorite New Activities

With the cold weather we now have, Tyson and Owen don't get as many opportunities to go outside and play. Since they have been inside so much, they have started to play new games and do some new things with each other to keep themselves entertained. Its been nice that they have kind of done that on their own, and we can just sit back and enjoy it. What they have done so far, is pretty interesting though. Owen really likes to sit in our toy chest. I'm not sure where he got the idea from. I came in the room one day, and he was laying down in the chest, cracking himself up. He looked like he was in an uncomfortable bathtub. Here is a picture. Hes a funny kid. Tyson's new thing to find different ways to attack Owen, usually just playfully. He will sometimes try and tackle him, or if Owen is laying on the ground, Tyson will jump on top of him. Tyson thinks its pretty funny, and Owen does sometimes. Here is one time they were both enjoying it (it probably doesn't look like it, but Owen was laughing.)And when they aren't lounging in toy chests or attacking each other, their new favorite activity is to hug each other. I'm not really sure why they have so much fun hugging, but they will hug each other and laugh and laugh. Its really cute, and its nice to see them enjoy being with each other. Sometimes they have issues being together all the time. Here is one of the few pictures we could get of them hugging.Thats really all that we have been up to lately. Tiffany manages the chaos in the house, and I've been working on getting ready for finals, they are coming up in a few weeks. Its been a little stressful, but its almost over with, thank goodness.

new table

Ok we bought a new table for them to do crafts on and it is so cute here is a picture of them reading on it.

Fall fun

Tyson and Owen are really enjoying the fall season. Its been fun to see them play in the leaves, help us rake (well, they try to help, I think) and run run run. I can't believe how much energy they have. And now they are starting to play well together, which is nice. We can play with them and not just be referees. They are starting to get used to playing with others also. Having their cousin Kade come over about twice a week has been good for them. They also love primary, which has been great for us too. We generally just drop them off, and check to make sure they don't need changed between classes. Sometimes they don't want to leave primary.
Here are some pictures of the boys playing in the leaves. They are just so cute. Hope you enjoy.
