Ok so it has been a while and I still want to post about Halloween so that will be coming up next but I just wanted to let you know that we are still alive and what has been keeping me from blogging

first off these four, they keep me busy, they were watching a show and so you can tell how interested they were at looking at me we got down all our little chairs for thanksgiving and they played with them for like a week.Next up family came to visit. my mom and dad came down for thanksgiving. my mom was down one week before that on her own too.
kenna looks like a little rag doll compared to cute brylee in this picture but I promise I do do her hair she just likes to pull it out.

Now on top of that owen had a Really bad week. first off he broke his arm in the wrist area then being the nice mom that I am took him 2 days later to get his teeth pulled out. He had to have 4 out because of crowding. his big tooth came in behind his baby teeth. so now we have a homeless looking owen with a broken arm. Nothing could say we beat our child more.

He has a hard cast now that glows in the dark and it only goes part way up his arm.

The good thing is he got rich off the tooth fairy.

Family picture time

Family picture time is fun, but it also causes a lot of stress. We have to keep the kids clean, happy, and listening all at the same time. Its not easy, but I think this year we got some great pictures. We took them while we were in Sandpoint this summer, this was at Memorial Field. Most of these were taken just behind the field, in a little green pathway that made a very good background.

Here is Owen, looking very handsome. We had to keep fixing his hair, its longer and harder to maintain, plus it was super windy.

Gavin was a stinker! He screamed and cried and made it really hard on all of us. But under the right circumstances, Gavin can be a real charmer. He made us work really hard to get a good picture.

Tyson was pretty good for most of the pictures. He was very aware of his hands, and the more we tried to get him to just relax, he seemed to always do something very strange with his hands. He finally got it right though.

Kenna was also very difficult. It didn't help that we were in dirt and grass with Kenna in a little white dress. We loved how this one turned out though, even with some blurry feet.

First day of school

Tyson and Owen are getting to be such big boys. Sure, this is a little old, but we still thought we ought to let everyone see the excitement they had on their first day of school.

They were so excited to wear their new clothes and their cool new mario backpacks.

Since Gavin got his Muno backpack for his birthday, he wanted to show that he could have a backpack too. He's such a sweetie.

It was a hard day, just knowing they weren't our little boys anymore, but they have had so much fun, and they are great students.

Gavins yo gabba gabba Birthday

Ok so gavins birthday was a month ago so I thought I should post about it before I forget. To say gavin loves yo gabba gabba would be a dramatic understatement. It is more like obsession. So when planning his party I knew what we would be doing. On the way to Sandpoint we basically watched yo gabba gabba for about 10 of the 13 hours of the drive, but well worth it for the peace and quite it brought us not to mention we love the influence it has over him, if he doesn't want to eat something we all start singing the song," try it and you'll like it" or "there's a party in my tummy" and it will work a lot of the time, at least for one bite.

So here are the decorations, He bought a muno backpack with great grandma and grandpas money so I used it as decoration. He loves his backpack, He wears it everyday when we take the boys to school. The balloons I got from the dollar store and printed off these gabba gabba balloon faces and put them on those, everything else I basically just printed off the computer (cheap decorations)

Ok so we all had the flu on his birthday and if that happens again I will not do sprinkles on the cupcakes, I always take the kid or kids whose birthday it is and let them pick out the cake flavor and frosting and gavin really wanted sprinkles but at 2 in the morning when I was cleaning those sprinkles out of the carpet coated in throw up I was wondering about my choice. I basically printed the characters off line and stuck them on a gumdrop and on to the cake, again we had the flu so I wasn't going to go crazy this birthday.

Present time!!! toys r us was having a sell on imaginext so that was mainly what he got which he loves we also found a dinosaur one on KSL for 5 bucks and it came with two bags of dinos.

and of course the traditional nose butter. I love this kid. He is so smart and so full of personality. We have been enjoying some alone time with the two older ones in school now and he makes me laugh everyday, it has been an amazing three years and I can wait to see what kind of little boy this kid is.

Kenna Turned 1!

My baby is one, I just cant believe it. This year has been very hard and emotional as well as fun and rewarding. Kenna is a big girl 95% in height and 80% in weight she is a fast learner too. We love having this little girl in our family what joy she brings us. Here is a picture of our traditional birthday nose butter.

Since her birthday was the day before her birthday party we had banana cream pie on her birthday. She enjoyed it!!

We also gave her a few presents, She is already starting to be a girly girl (which I love) we bought her a little strand of fake pearls and she loved them.

We did a combined birthday with my nephew noah since they were only 2 days apart. we had the theme of the hungry caterpillar it was a lot of fun we had two cakes a girly one and a boy one.

This is kennas birthday outfit that I made. Did I mention I love having a girl :P

She loves her baby so much she is always feeding it a bottle and patting its back, its so cute.

Making Cookies

A while ago I bought some play-dough cookie dough it has been in the freezer for a while and I decided it needed to be used up soon so we had a day of cookie making. we had to have the kids take off all there cloths because the die stains. (for a week they had blue poop that changed the water in the toilet blue) sorry if that was too much information. It was a lot of fun the kids were excited to have cookies everyday for a week. We also learned about what happens when you mix colors.

Tysons Missing tooth

For some reason I hadn't taken these pictures off of my camera until yesterday, and thought I would share the saga of Tysons missing tooth. Tyson is a bit young to start having his teeth fall out, but we kind of knew this was coming. When we took the boys to the dentist, he said that Tysons teeth were loose, probably because of trauma (a fall, getting hit in the face with something). Since we have rough and tumble boys, this wasn't too surprising, but it still caught us a little off guard. This video is tyson showing off his wiggly tooth. He was a little nervous about it.

Since this would be our first tooth extraction, we were both nervous about how to go about it. We probably left it in a little too long, but Tyson would get anxious when I started to pull on it. Finally the day came when it was just too wiggly. I gave Tiffany the camera and sat Tyson down to pull it out. Tiffany was in the picture taking position, but it was so loose, it popped out with almost no effort at all. Here is tyson trying to take it all in.

Its kind of a strange experience, but since it was so easy, I don't think he was traumatized by the experience. That was my biggest fear, making Tyson afraid to lose another tooth. Here is the tooth, after extraction. It turns out that the tooth didn't fall out just because of trauma. We looked at the hole after it was out, and he has another tooth coming in already. It was a surprise to us.

Finally we got a normal smile out of him. He was so proud of losing his tooth. He was very excited when the tooth fairy left him a dollar. Tiffany took him to the dollar store and he got his very own magnifying glass. He already has another loose tooth, and it may be out soon. We will try to be faster at updating the next one.

Camping out, inside and walking

We decided, with all the rain we have been getting, we should go camping, indoor camping that is :). The kids had a lot of fun.

Here is Kenna in her chair. She was probably the least involved the whole night, so I thought I would get a picture of her so we know she at least watched the boys enjoy themselves.

This is our tinfoil dinner. Nothing too exciting,we cooked them in the oven, but the boys were very curious about why we were wrapping up food this way. We had lemon pepper chicken corn and cheesy potatos.
We showed them the dinners all wrapped up, and they were even more confused. But I think they were mostly excited for a change in the daily routine.
While we were waiting for dinner, Tyson, Owen and Gavin went upstairs and we made a tent/fort for them. They sat in there with the lights out and a few little flashlights and they had a blast. In fact, since that night, Tyson and Owen will only sleep in the fort.
Here is our dinner, all prepared. It tasted excellent, I think we will do this more, even without it being a campout. The boys ate it all, even Gavin, and he has been picky lately.

For dessert, we made teddy graham s'mores. We let the boys cook their own marshmallows, then we put them between the teddy grahams with a chocolate chip. The candles were just small leftover candles from a pack we bought a while ago.

They actually cooked up better then we thought they would. A little bit black most of the time(and I hate burnt marshmallows), but they were small enough they tasted great.

I helped Gavin with his. He had a lot of fun, and even did some of them almost by himself.
Tyson and Owen got to do their own s'mores, and they did a great job. Sure, they ate more than they actually cooked, but it was all about having fun.

What campout, even indoors, would be complete without a roaring campfire? Thanks to a mac app and a connection to the tv, the boys sat around the fire and we sang songs, told stories and read some of their favorite books.

We sure did have a lot of fun. I dont know that we will be camping outdoors any time soon (maybe clint can with the older boys) but it sure was a fun family night. The best part was the kids were in bed by 8 and we toasted marshmallows and watch a movie.

On a side note kenna has been walking now for about two weeks. she is getting really good at it but here is a little video of her walking at the beginning, she can go all around the room now.

Graduation

It was already official in December, but Clint was able to participate in his graduation ceremony at Utah Valley University. We weren't sure if we would be around for his graduation, but with the economy the way it is, we are still here. Even though it was a long ceremony, it was so nice to celebrate Clints great achievement. He earned a bachelors of science in Digital Media. We have some pictures and a short video of the ceremony for everyone who was unable to attend.

There are two parts to graduation, commencement and convocation. Convocation was first, where Clint actually walked and got his diploma (case). This is him entering with his Digital Media friends.

This is a video I got of him actually walking. I wanted to get pictures and video at the same time, but I only had one camera to do both, so I couldn't get everything I wanted. This was basically the best part of what would be a 4 hour ceremony.

This is him going back to his seat after he walked. That is a copy of "Oh the places you'll go" under his arm. He got that from the Digital Media department.

This was Clint walking into the commencement ceremony. There were not as many chances/reasons to get a lot of pictures during this ceremony.

He finally spotted me in the crowd. It was kind of hard to find each other at times.

We decided to walk around the campus and get pictures in some different areas, and some of the places Clint will always remember from campus. The pictures outside aren't great because it was a terribly windy day.

We found a family who took a picture of the two of us outside. Otherwise, the rest are all of just Clint. Not that I wanted my picture taken!

Amber was so great to watch the kids while we went to graduation. After the ceremony, we got a family picture with Clint in his cap and gown. The boys thought daddy was in a silly outfit, but they loved trying on the had and medallion. It was a good end to a good day. We are so glad he is done with school, and look forward to finding a job and moving into the next stage of our lives.

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year. Tyson and Owen understood more about the holiday this year, and got very excited for the big day. Gavin usually follows his brothers, so he would get excited about it too. The only downside is that our church was at 8 in the morning, so we couldn't just wake up and hunt for eggs, we had to wait until after church. Im sure that just helped to build the excitement for them. They were so excited to see their easter baskets when they got home, they could hardly stand it. I couldn't get much of a picture before they ran in.

Tyson, Owen and Gavin were very excited about their baskets. Kenna seemed happy to be by her brothers, but not so much about the basket. The boys were just ripping through the basket. it was fun to watch them be so excited.

Here is Owen with the loudest toy we bought, the whistler. They loved them, we got annoyed with the sound after a few minutes.

I'm not sure if Gavin knew what everything was in his basket, but he was happy he got so much. What a cute kid.

Tyson was most excited for his punching balloons. He kept trying to blow it up himself since we kept telling him we would do it later.

I'm actually really surprised they sat long enough for Clint to get a picture. It didn't last long, but they were very cute.

Here is a video Clint got of them getting their baskets. Clint has been obsessed with getting video with his new camera, so you will probably see more of this in later posts.

After we got their baskets, we cleared them out and went Easter egg hunting. They were so cute getting their eggs. I love seeing them when they have a surprise. Here are the pros, Tyson and Owen.

Gavin did a good job keeping up with the boys. He kept yelling every time he found an egg. Luckily we did this later in the day, so we didn't disturb our neighbors too much.
Here is some video of them getting eggs. Tyson and Owen were told they had to let Gavin get some eggs, so they could only get 10 eggs each. You can hear them counting and discussing how many eggs they had and how many more they needed.

Jody was nice enough to let us come over to her house for an Easter dinner, so we were happy to go and see family. The boys love to play with their cousins, plus they got to hunt for eggs again. Here are all the babies. They were so cute, and even though it doesn't look like it, they had a lot of fun.

Here are Tyson and Owen checking in during the egg hunting. They have to see how each other are doing. It was cute because Tyson didnt get as many eggs as everyone else and owen was so concerned that owen and I did another round looking for eggs for tyson we found 12 more so it was a success.

We forgot our baskets, so Gavin kind of struggled using his impromptu basket,but he wouldnt let me carry it for him, he was happy to do something new, plus he got candy. There were no complaints.

Here is video of the egg hunt. It was such a fun time, we love to see the kids just be happy and so excited.

The boys enjoy themselves at Jody's house. They play with cousins, eat yummy food, and they always get to play on the trampoline. They got a kick out of jumping high and playing around on it. They were so cute that I had Clint get a few pictures.

They also loved the tree house. They really didn't know what to do in there, but they had fun climbing up and pretending. We have been trying to get them to use their imagination more, giving them dress up clothes, having them act like they are doing different jobs, and its been fun to see them do it outside of the house.

6 years and family pictures

Wow 6 years where did that time go. although sometimes I think we have been married for way longer. We have so much fun together and clint always keeps me guessing. I was lucky to marry someone with so much love and so much talent. I cant wait to see what the next year brings.

We have been wanting to take some family pictures for a while now, its been about 6 months since the last time, and we wanted some change on our picture wall. Clint was still getting used to his new camera, and they didn't turn out as clear as we had wanted so they are a little grainy but I really like them overall. The kids were pretty good, and they all got good poses, and thats more important.Here is our family picture.

The kids even did good on their own. I was impressed to see Kenna not crying, even though she does not look comfortable.

Tyson and Owen were so good for their pictures. They are at that stage where they like to have their pictures taken. Tyson is such a big boy.

Owen probably loves to be in front of the camera more than anyone else. He was so happy to get his own picture taken. What a smile!
Sometimes it takes some convincing to get Gavin to sit still for a few seconds. He also likes to pull cheesy faces. He did a good job here, he is just so hard to reign in.

Kenna was hard to get only because you can't really set her down on a tree root by herself. You don't see the hands all around her, hoping she doesn't fall over. She was very happy to get so much attention though.

April Fools

The boys are so much fun. We hate to see them grow up so fast, but the older they get, we find new ways to have fun with them. This year, our April fools day was a blast. We explained to the boys about how April fools works, and they seemed to understand. They would try to trick us in little ways, and it was cute to see how much they enjoyed it. But if anyone "won" the day, it was Clint and I. We decided to try and trick them with their dinner. I made dinner that looked like desert, and desert that looks like dinner. First up was dinner. There is a picture below. They look like cupcakes, but it was actually meatloaf, covered with mashed potatoes (with some food coloring to get that nice pink color). We kept telling the boys that they were going to have something special for dinner, so they were excited once we told it was ready. They came out and saw the cupcakes in the pan and got confused.

Tyson said "Mom, we don't eat cupcakes for dinner!" And Owen, thinking a little more clearly, said "well, sometimes we can have cupcakes for dinner." He didn't want to lose out on a good thing. Gavin was just excited to eat. We pulled out the cupcakes and dished them up (they lost their authentic look out of the pan, as you can see below.)

They were pretty cautious about the whole thing. It was so funny to see the twins faces as they started to eat them. They would take a bite, then sit and think about it. Gavin just dove right in, he didn't care what it looked like, he was just happy to eat.

Tyson finally said "mom, this dosen't taste right." We decided it was time to tell them. They thought it was so funny. They laughed and kept saying "you tricked us mommy and daddy". They thought it was tasty too.

After dinner, we took a little walk and played outside. While the boys and Kenna played, I ran inside to get desert all ready. We made the desert look like dinner. Below, you can see how yummy it looked.

The potatoes and gravy was actually ice cream with caramel syrup, the peas were green sixlets, the carrots were orange tootsie rolls cut into small squares, and the chicken nugget was a twix bar covered in frosting and rolled in graham cracker crumbs. The boys noticed the ice cream first, since it was cold, then they thought it was hysterical. They then went for the peas and carrots, and were pleasantly surprised. Everyone was pretty reserved about the chicken nugget. It wasn't until they got brave enough to take one bite that everyone decided it was delicious. We had a lot of fun with the boys, and I think we made a good, memorable April fools day for them.

Its my turn to write (Clint), since I don't post very often, I thought I should give Tiffany a break. I have been looking to upgrade my camera (a Nikon D40) for some time, but never got around to putting it online or seeing if anyone I knew was interested. When I realized that I had an opportunity to make some money by doing freelance work, I realized it would be best if I got a new dslr that does video as well. Realizing that I should get a camera soon, to avoid missing an opportunity, I bought a Nikon D3100. I finally got around to selling the D40, and I have been very happy with it. It has taken me a little while to figure out all the differences in the camera, and I'm still learning, but I've gotten some pretty good pictures lately. Here are a few random pictures I thought you may enjoy.

This is our nephew Noah, taken at his house. He is such a cutie!

This is our niece Brylee. She loved playing with the sunglasses, and she thought she was pretty hot stuff.

After seeing Brylee in glasses, Rusty naturally wanted in on the whole thing. He looks a little like Elton John.

Im going to try and get a video of this as well, but Kenna has developed a new, weird, trait. She gets into this position, and bounces up and down. It looks so painful, I hope she stops it soon.

This is Kenna and Gavin playing with some sidewalk chalk while it was decent weather outside. We have been glad to get out more and have some fun times as a family. Hopefully we get more pictures of this during the summer.

Tyson and Owen have fallen back in love with their sandbox. Any time we go outside to play, I know they are, at least, going to open the sandbox and make sure everything looks ok. Most of the time they are outside they play in that sandbox.

This is Gavin playing outside. I realized I have very little footage of Gavin, so I need to be better at that. Im hoping with a new camera and the need to figure out how to run the thing best, I will probably have a lot more videos in a while.

the twins turn 5

Wow I have two five year olds! Ok it has been over a month! What fun they have been. they got spoiled this year. we didn't have a party for them this year we decided to just dedicate the whole day to whatever they wanted to do and we did it as a family. Then my friend falawn and her kids came over for dinner and desert. I think they loved the fact that they got whatever they wanted that day and got to play with their toys instead of sharing.

They got lots of presents

They opened presents right after breakfast and then we just played all day it amazes me how well they are at sharing a birthday, I know it wont always be this way but they enjoy it now and are truly best friends

Of course what would a birthday be without a nose butter. they were begging me to do it. Oh they have so much to learn about nose buttering :)

Ok so the cake was different this year. I always make them some elaborate cake but since we weren't having a party I wanted to just do easy cup cakes but they kept fighting over what cupcakes they wanted so one day I told them how about no cake just dirt, they laughed and continued to tell me what they wanted. I started saying no we are not having cake just dirt, mud and rocks. they just thought it was a joke boy were they surprised when there birthday came and I had no cake just a pot of potted flowers. The whole day they thought I was kidding. after dinner I pulled out my dirt desert and a shovel. It took some convincing but I finally took a bite, well ty took a bite owen said I will let ty take a bite and see if it is good. Tyson took a bite and said "its only a little good" they crack me up. I finally got owen to take a bite. after that I explained it was cookies and pudding. The chocolate rocks also to a lot of convincing. for like 3 weeks after that owen told me he loves dirt.

Kennas getting big

Kenna is getting big, we dont have many pictures of her on our blog so here is a little sample. she is already changed so much since we took these pictures like 2 weeks ago. She is so big she is 8 1/2 months but in 12 month cloths, she pull her self up and walks along the couch. She is our little busy body.

She had pig tails in before this hence the hair.

The circus

We went to the circus. I dont think I have been to a circus since I was like 5 so it was fun for all of us. All the kids were free so it just cost clint and I. It was a really fun family outing. Sorry some of the pictures aren't great it was dark and smoky a lot of the time.

Tysons fake smile changes in like every pictures. here they are in front of the pony ride, It is kind of nice when your kids are afraid of everything since the pony rides were we 5 bucks each and the elephant rides were 10 bucks. They were happy just watching

This one was smelly and loud but it was really cool they eventually had 4 motercycles in that tiny circle going upside down.
We had a lot of fun at the circus and the boys pretend circus all the time now if it ever comes to your town you should go it is so much fun.

Christmas

We had a really fun christmas this year, no traveling, no schedule. we just sat around the house being lazy and it was great. we missed having family around but this was the next best thing. We also stayed healthy which is a rarity for us. I wont say too much just a comment here or there. Enjoy the pictures

Halloween

We had a really good halloween even though it was poring down rain. The boys wanted to be Mario and Luigi again this year and who was I to argue its way cheaper then buying two new costumes we just switched up who was who from last year. Gavin was a little monster which fits his personality. Instead of carving pumpkins we colored little ones. (we were still going through kennas seizer stuff)

Fun Times

Okay so I know it has been a really really long time. Kenna is such a time consuming baby but I will be better. Now that she is a little older and crawls I think I will have more time. So the next few blogs will be some catch up and then I will start posting new. I look at these pictures and my kids dont even look the same anymore but they are still things I want to remember so I am going to add them. We are having so much fun. Clint graduated and we are now on the search for a job. But for now we are enjoying having him around more often. Here are just some fun times we have had in the past few months

Okay this is a really old one of kenna but I love her eyes. Her eyes are still this color, everyone comments on them but we really have no idea where she got such blue eyes.
she has loved to jump in the jumperoo since she was 5 months old. but now that she is crawling I think it is almost time to take it down.
Owen and Tyson got some missionary tags at church one week. They were so excited to be missionaries like Grandpa and Grandma!

As for this little snotty face, (He was teething)He HATES dirt on his hands he got a tiny bit on his finger and I had to wipe it off.

Okay so that is the end for now but I am going to get Halloween and Christmas up soon I promise. Then I will do more recent like the boys Birthday, and I will try and get a video of Kenna.

Sandpoint ( I know long time over due)

ok these pictures are really old kenna is like 1 month old but I have had this post sitting in my draft box forever so I figured I had to get it done. this is from our trip to sandpoint back in august :) we always have so much fun there though it was a little crazy driving 13 hours with a one month old, it was still worth it. We had way too much fun not to blog about it.

End of the boat ride with the marks, I asked if they could come everyday around nap time. The boat ride pictures are not great but it is hard taking a picture on a boat with a cell phone.

We went huckleberry picking with my grandparents and oh what an adventure, we actually had a lot of fun and we will always remember this trip. luckily we didnt bring the kids otherwise it wouldn't have been so much fun.

we went to the first spot and only got about one little layer of berries on the bottom of the bucket, but we had heard that the berries didnt do well this year so we weren't expecting much. we decided we at least had enough to give the kids a little so they could try fresh huckleberries.
so as we went up to turn around and we got a flat tire, we were also lucky the expert tire changer jay was with us so he just whipped a new tire on for us. well then we started down the road and this happened. Yep two flat tires

Well two flat tires- one spare tire- Idaho mountains- No cell service = sitting for hours while sending things down the hill with passer bys(which dont come often in the mountains) we sent our tire down with one guy to take to les schwab and we gave him a whole bunch of numbers to call family to tell them where we were and see if anyone could go to les schwab and get our tire and bring it back up to us. of course we have no Idea if they got a hold of anyone so we had to just wait. eventually we sent grandpa with someone so he could go see if anyone new we were there. on his way down apparently he passed my uncle cliff bringing us up the tire. so after 2 hours of sitting we got our new tire and found grandpa at the bottom of the road waiting.
The good news is where the car tire popped the second time had a lot more huckley berries so we had 2 extra hours of picking time. :)

Kennas great (not so great) adventure

well kenna decided to follow the family trend and had seizures last week. actually for me this has been the most stressful one. All 4 seizures she had were grand mal. it all started when I was web caming with trish, all the sudden I heard kenna making some weird noises from her swing , I realized quite quickly that she was having a seizure, she was turning purple. I picked her up grabbed my phone and called 911. (poor trish was freaking out cause I was but I couldn't hear her cause my earphones had been plugged in.) as I was outside talking to the 911 operator and bawling at this point a stranger that was just coming by asked if I was ok, he could hear me tell the operator that she was seizing and not breathing. he asked if he could give her a blessing which of course I said yes. I didnt hear any of it cause I was still talking to the operator, when the police got there he had finished and kenna had quit seizing and her color looked good. the ambulance checked her out and told me to take her to our doctor as soon as I could so of course I started getting things ready.
Clint answered my call fast which doesnt always happen and our neighbors who were moving in 3 days were home and able to take the kids. clint got home and we were off to the doctors, they got us right in and as they were checking her out she went into another seizure. this one lasted 3 mins the first one we think lasted about 4. they called 911 and got her on oxygen. so we took her first and hopefully last ride to the hospital by ambulance.

We arranged for jay and stacey to get the kids from the neighbors cause we didnt know how long we were going to be. they got her on medication around 5:30 just 5 hours after her first seizure (which is the fastest any of our kids have been put on something.) they told me they wanted to keep her over night and that only one parent could stay with her over night. so we decided the kids would stay at stacey and jays and clint would stay until it was time for bed then he would go home and come back early in the morning. well around 10:30 pm she had another one, I was so glad clint hadn't left yet, if any of you know me I freak out a little during these seizures. I was freaking cause she was on meds to stop it and neither of our other kids had them after they started the meds. I told the nurse clint wasnt leaving and they seemed really understanding about it and let him stay. I stayed up with Kenna until about 5 and then I went to sleep and he watched her well at 6:30 I woke up to everyone in our room she was having another seizure. grrrr not the way you want to wake up. anyway after testing and stuff they realized they never gave her a loading dose of the meds so her levels were really low. after they gave her that dose she didn,t have anymore. here are some pictures of her in the hospital

She reacted different to the meds, instead of being really tired she was grumpy and had a hard time sleeping. she is getting better so we hope things will just level out so we don't have to change the meds. she had another one just recently on sunday, almost one month exactly since her last one, we are hoping her levels are low again so we can just up it and everything will be fine. one thing clint and I talked about while we were in the hospital is how strange things that worked out the way they did normally wouldn't have been the case on any other day. I am just so thankful for the guy walking down the street who helped a HYSTERICAL me. and for the fast response of the emergency personnel and for the fact that clint got to his phone so fast and someone was there to take his shift. also for the fact that our neighbors where home, and stacey could come get the kids. there is so much I am thankful for I wish I could list them all. we will hopefully know today what is causing this sudden breakthrough seizure and we will get it fixed. thank you everyone for your prayers during this time.

Gavins Birthday ( a little late)

Well I am a little bit behind on the whole blogging thing so here is gavins birthday from august :) I wont go into detail about every picture but I will tell you we did an abc birthday for gav cause he loves his letters. He also love being a cat so we got him a cat for his birthday he loved it. it walked and purred.

Owens broken elbow

Wow life has been crazy it seems like it takes forever to get around to my blog. well as most of you know by now right after kenna was born owen broke his elbow. we are still going to an orthopedic specialist and owen is making great progress, Fingers crossed he wont have to do physical therapy. Well here is kind of a run down of events

Kenna and Noahs baby blessings the whole family was together lots of fun playing with cousins, but too much playing with cousins ends up with.....

This. a late night trip to the ER. Now it took a while for us to actually take owen in because if any of you know owen he likes to draw things out forever the 24 hour flu ends up to be the 2 week flu. but once we noticed his elbow swelling we decided to take him in so the night before our 13 hour trip to sandpoint we are sitting in the emergency room.

Well after all the x-rays and nothing showing up they think it is fracture on the growth plate which dont show up on x rays until 7-10 days later so they want us to re x-ray later but they splint it and put him in a sling the night before our family vacation on the beach (no swimming)
Well since the 7-10 day mark was in sandpoint we end up at a doctor there . owen was in good spirit until...The doctor took his splint off and started playing with his arm. after his 2nd set of x rays we are told that it was just a sprain and that he should use it as much as he will (yay he gets to swim)

Now I dont have pictures for the rest of the story but here you go. the doctor ($200 later) tells us that we need to have a follow up in a week. I said we will be back home in a week so he tells me to go to our pediatrician when we get home to make sure everything is ok. so a week later we go to dr. again with x-rays in tow and behold (our amazing doctor) see's something on the x rays that no one else sees so he wants to re do them at his office. he does and finds a fracture to the elbow. so he sends a to the orthopedic specialist who see the fracture in every set of x rays, why no one else saw it I don't know. so Owen has a compound fracture all the way threw his elbow. the doctor was amazed that all the use of it didn't displace it. so there is the story we are still working on the stiffness of his elbow. he cant quite touch is shoulder but we are hoping that physical therapy isn't going to be necessary.

I have lots of blog post that are started just not finished so check back every few days to see if I posted something new. I will try to get all caught up soon.

Dinosaur Museum

well the whole month of august it was $2 tuesdays at thanksgiving point so we were able to take the boys to the dinosaur museum which we would never do unless it was 2$ tuesday it was and awsome museum but we figured it out it cost us 8 dollars to go this last time but on a normal day it would be over 50 dollars. we had a lot of fun it was really crowded though. they had so many hands on things for the boys to do. we also went to farm land.

Kenna's baby blessing

Kenna's baby blessing was almost a month ago but we have been so busy I am just getting around to it. since the baby blessing we had two weddings and a vacation, Owen broke his elbow and clint is getting ready to start school in the morning. I will be doing more post soon. but for now here is my beautiful baby. I crochet kenna's blessing dress it took me forever (about 3 months) but I was really proud of it when I was done, I am teaching myself to crochet with the help of youtube. We did a double blessing with my nephew Noah. He was born 2 days after Kenna and since our family is the same on both sides it just made since we do them together. it was so fun to have everyone together to bless these two precious babies.

We are still trying to take good pictures of Kenna, and capture some of those sweet newborn moments. She is so cute, we are just trying to duplicate it as an image. Though I wish I could get more, I think these are a good representation of her. Enjoy.

Coming Home

On Sunday, Tiffany and I got to take Kenna home. Her jaundice levels were slightly high, but not too bad. She was tested a few days later and everything is normal. We finally got her out of her hospital clothes, and got her in her first real outfit. She looked so cute, and the bow seemed a lot bigger than we thought it was.

We had to try and get some pictures of her with the boys. They still seemed to like the idea of a new sister, but Gavin was not sure how he felt about her. Trying to get them all in a picture is a mess, and they were playing before we tried this, so it wasn't as good as we had hoped, but at least they are all in one spot at one time.

Since Tyson and Owen were more open to the idea of taking pictures, we thought it would be cute to get the three of them. They sure love her, and they both kept saying "look, its my new baby sister."

Since we haven't gotten many pictures of the boys in their own element in a while, we thought we would take some pictures of them at lunch. Gavin is quite the eater, and he is getting big. He seems huge after only holding Kenna for 3 days.

Tyson and Owens new thing is making their own sandwhiches. They really enjoy making them, and they feel like such big boys. They sure make a mess but thats something that we can deal with.
Since we have never had a girl, and this is the first baby where I have had my Nikon, we have taken a lot of cute baby pictures. Though we are still trying to make this work, I think the results were great. Here are some of Kenna just being cute.

the hospital

We had 3 days in the hospital before Kenna and Tiffany got to go home. Tiffany did a good job recovering with this pregnancy, though it wasn't without its pains. This time she had a problem with the spinal. It took quite a few tries to get it right. Here is her bruise from the multiple attempts. Pretty grizzly.

She still thinks all the pains were worth it. Here she is with Kenna relaxing. She was so peaceful. It was nice to have some time just to enjoy her.

This is how she is about 90% of the time. She is a pretty good sleeper. The biggest problem with that is when Tiffany tries to breastfeed. We are working on it, but she still zonks out a ton.

While we were there, Tiffanys mom and sister watched the boys. They had a really good time, and im sure they got spoiled rotten. Paula brought the boys to come see us on Saturday, and it was fun to see their reaction to the baby. First, they were just amazed by the beds and the stuff in the room. They ate some snacks and watched some TV while they were there. So very cute.

Gavin was the most unsure of the boys. He really didn't want to get too close to Kenna, and he didn't go to anyone who was holding the baby, but he did have some moments like this where he was interested in her. He doesn't know how to be soft, so we will have to watch him, but he was pretty funny.

Here is Tyson holding Kenna. He sure seemed to enjoy her. Not sure if they understand that she is here to stay, but Tyson was very nice to her.

Owen was also very nice to her. He gave her kisses and was very excited to tell everyone that he had a new sister. Such cute boys, I'm glad they adjusted well to her. Gavin will just take a little more time I'm sure.

The twins had made Kenna a necklace and they brought it to the hospital. They were excited to see her with it, even though she pretty much just slept or cried while they were there. We got this picture to let them know it was a very nice thing they did. It was sweet.

We also got some family in our room, Amber and Dat came with Brylee. Brylee is so big now its crazy, and she was being awfully cute. Here she is finishing off her apple. Small bites Brylee!

Here is Grandpa Chapin trying to get a good picture with the two youngest. Everything seemed to go wrong. Brylee was freaked out, and Kennas head just wouldn't cooperate. I think its funnier just because this is how 90% of my pictures turn out.

Kenna Mae Karlinsey

Well, she's finally here! Yesterday at 10:35 Tiffany delivered a healthy baby girl. 8 Lbs, 4 oz., 20 inches long. We have named her Kenna Mae Karlinsey, not Kerlindsey :)

Tiffany did well with the surgery, but had some issues with the spinal before. The anesthesiologist couldn't get the needle to get in the spine just right (no fault of his own, just a very strange occurrence). Before they were done, another anesthesiologist had come in and it took him a few times to get it right. More than 10 pokes and 50 minutes later she was completely numb. A little while later we got to see Kenna. She is so cute. Below are some pictures we got of her yesterday.

This was just moments after they brought her out to us, after Tiffany had been sewn up and moved into our room. She was only alert for a few minutes, but we are very glad we got this one. They put the bow in her hair, so cute.
She has some chunky cheeks. The dr. assisting with surgery said "shes chunky everywhere." We agree.
Tiffany holding her on her lap. She is so tiny! Gavin was a little bigger (8 lbs 9 oz.) but she seems so much smaller. Also, she looks a lot like Gavin when he was born. How Kenna and Gavin can look more alike than Tyson and Owen is a little strange to me.
Its a girl. We've never had that sign for any of our kids, its different.
We are so happy that she is here, and she has been very good. She has hardly cried and seems very content most of the time. The only downside to that is she is not interested in breastfeeding. We thought maybe if we waited a long time, she would get hungry and try a little harder. Turns out she was just happy to be held and fell asleep again. We aren't going to complain though! Thanks for all the prayers offered on our behalf, and thanks for all the support. We have been very blessed, and we are so very happy she is finally here.

Alright, so this has been sitting here for a while, waiting to get written, and with family bugging us I'm finally getting around to it. Sure, I'm a few months behind, but at least we are getting something out. We should update with more stories and pictures in a little while.

These are our eggs that the boys painted for easter. Tiffany and I helped with a few of them, but they did a really good job.

This is them enjoying themselves. We went shirtless to avoid the mess, but they kept it all on the paper. Good Job!
This year we went to Willard for the annual Spring party (it used to be called the Easter party, but because everyone seems to forget about the real meaning of Easter at these parties, we call it the Spring party.) This was Gavins first time to go easter egg hunting. He did pretty well, we had to try and convince him that he could grab more than 1 thing. he just seemed content to have very little, as long as he had something.

Tyson and Owen had a lot of fun at the party. Here they are scouring for candy. They tried to show Gavin how to do it, but they were more concerned with their own haul.

Gavin and uncle Troy. Gavin is usually pretty good about being held by other people. As long as he is the center of attention, he is happy.
Tyson Owen and Kade loved the rabbit that Lyndi and Zach brought. Here the rabbit looks a little squished, but he was pretty calm. Im surprised the boys wanted to touch the rabbit. They are usually a little stand-off-ish.
That rabbit did have some really red eyes, kind of creepy to be honest.
Here Gavin is doing the fish pond. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it, but once he got some presents, he really enjoyed it.

And here is Tyson. I think Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed this as much as the kids.
Easter Morning. The boys easter baskets are all ready for them.
Owen is always so giddy when something special like this happens. Its cute to see how excited he gets. Luckily he quite fidgeting so I could get a clean shot.
Gavin really liked seeing his basket. He was more interested in the toys than he was in the candy. He will learn some day.
Tyson is usually pretty tired in the mornings. We have to make sure to talk to him the night before about what will happen in the morning, so he doesn't get so grumpy. He was pretty happy to get candy in the morning, so it was an easier adjustment.

Something for everyone to do. Good times.

We also woke up to some unseasonably cold weather. We got about an inch or 2 of snow. Pretty surprising, but it was a good excuse to stay in the house.

Gavin didn't seem to trust the basket with his eggs, so he just made small piles whenever he found his eggs.

Tyson and Owen really got into it. They checked everywhere, and it didn't take them too long.

Everyone wanted to show off their toys and goodies. Gavin wasn't sure if daddy would take his toys, so he kind of kept them hid.
Tyson has such a cute forced smile.
Im not sure if Owen was happy with me taking his picture or if he just wanted to be left alone.
It was a fun day, and we all had a really good time. Its fun to see how they grow up and how much different it is for them from year to year.oh and we cut all of there hair after this, they all had ridiculously long hair.

Ok so now that it has been over a month since the boys birthday I decided to blog about it. The boys LOVE Mario. I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted another mario party next year. We just had a really small party for them this year but it was fun.

Well we are happy to announce that we went in for our 20 week ultrasound and the baby is going to a healthy little GIRL!!!!!! We are so excited to meet our new little baby. The boys are excited for their little sister. I am going to post a few pictures of her.

Yep that is the due date for baby number 4. We are so excited to have this addition to our family. Its perfect timing for us, it will be in the summer right before clints starts his last semester at UVU that fall. we had an ultrasound to makes sure that it was just one. It is always comforting to see the heart beat . I have been pretty sick this pregnancy so far and I am hoping that will go away in the next couple of weeks.

Mice

These are the mice that someone so kindly left on our door step back in November. For those of you who don't know the story I will tell it.

I was at my sisters baby shower. on the way home Clint called to tell me about his interesting night. He had had a few people knock on our door to give us things, for some reason we were more popular that night then normal. We live in a very colorful neighbor hood. everyone has very INTERESTING personalities. We got a loaf of bread that night from the lady across the street, she is a little different and she will often come back with a story or something about how she got that loaf of bread or a miracle she had. so Clint wasn't too surprised when about 20 Mins later a knock came to the door again, but this time no one was there. it was at about 7:30, clint looked down and there was a box with some rat and mice food in it. clint brought it in to find that it also had a cage inside with a little white mouse. the boys were so excited, it wasnt until about an hour later when the boys came running really excited that there were actually 2 mice. OH BOY!! That night we laid the boys down, Tyson cried and cried he wanted to be with his mice. (Thanks whoever gave us the mice) I had to explain to him we couldn't keep the mice and that we needed to share them with other kids. That next morning Our house smelled so bad. We took them to Petco that day and they said they could adopted them out for us. I had to fill out paperwork like we were the owners but I was laughing the whole time. it was asking me where i got the mice and I put doorstep. then it asked why we didnt want them anymore and I said we never wanted them in the first place. Petco said they had heard about animals being left on peoples door steps but this is the first time they had heard of mice.

Grandma's visit

My mom came to visit for a while and we had a blast, it is so much easier to do fun things when you have an extra pair of hands to help out. we also got a lot done around the house and even stripped and re-stained our kitchen table. here is just a bunch of pictures for her stay.

We went on the heber valley railroad for the first time. It was so beautiful up there. Tyson was really scared at first and wanted to get off but once it started moving he was good, it was really cold so we kept switching between the inside car and the outside car.

Ok we also went to the zoo it was on salt lakes UEA which we didnt know so it was crazy. but what we also didnt know is you got a discount that day so it was a lot cheaper for all of us.

Ok to start this off I have to show you the "maps" wow these were much more exciting that any zoo animal. the whole time both boys had a map and at every animal they would sit with one of us and owen would say " ok we are (here) and we want to go (here), so we need to go this way." They were so excited to be in control.

Photography and fire fighters

I'm homeschooling the boys this year for their 3 year old preschool. My sister teaches preschool and gave me lots of her material she also let me know that orem city was doing a fire safety day at the fire station so we went. we learned a lot and also got hats, whistles ,Cotton candy and popcorn it was a lot fun, my phone was being weird and not letting me take pictures so I didn't get all the ones I wanted but here are some of the ones I got.

This fire got much much much bigger and then the firefighters came out in all there gear and put it out. it was so hot I was up on the hill and I could fill my leg hairs burning off.

Each boy got a few turns shooting the fire hose. the fire fighters were all really nice. this is Ty.
Heres owen he was a little more shy about it.
we were there to see the helicopter land. the boys loved that but it was really loud and windy the closer it got so they got a little scared, they were able to look in side and everything.

Here is them in front of the fire truck they were amazed with all the buttons on the fire truck and how big its wheels were.

Oh this is the little car we found at the DI it is tiny much smaller then the normal size red ones it is funny to watch them ride in it. It will be perfect for gav when he gets a little older.

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We went to Jay and Staceys this year to do some trick or treating with our cousins. We also had Falawn and Jake and their baby, James, come with us as well. The boys had a lot of fun. Tyson and Owen were SO excited to be Mario and Luigi they could hardly stand it. Gavin seemed to enjoy the bumblebee outfit, although he spent most of the time chewing on the little bee on chest. Here are some pictures of the boys. We didn't get too many as they were too excited for candy to sit still for very long.

Luigi. The mustaches were makeup that we put on. Owen kept rubbing his nose, so he only had half of his mustache left.
Mario Tyson. He did a little better with the mustache, but both of them had a lot of their sleeves by the end of the night.

Gavin only walked around for a little while. He ran around thinking he was pretty funny. He soon got tired and wanted carried. He stayed happy most of the time, except when we tried to take away the bee he was chewing on.

These are just a few pictures when we went to the pool for Clint's birthday and had it all to ourselves, It was so fun. and Tyson and Owen both went on the big slide lots of times. (which is Great for ty who Hates water!!)Trish and Kaleb were there with us as was Clint's boss Kaye who was there to make sure we didnt drown or anything :) It was so nice of her to let us have the park 4 hours before it opened.

Gavins Birthday

OK we are a little behind. at the end of augest Gavin turned one. We have been super busy with company ,clint starting school and 3 birthdays in a week and a half. with Gavins on the 28th of augest and clints on the 2nd of september and mine on the 7th we had lots of fun. for clints birthday we went to the scerea pool and had it to ourselves before it opened for a few hours.for pictures of that you can look on trish's blog. maybe I will get around to posting that later. Here are some pictures for gavins birthday.We had two parties one with just the 5 of us with a small chocolate cake on his real birthday then a family party a week later.

We have a few little, low quality, videos of gavin doing some cute stuff from this weekend. He does things so fast and for such a short time its hard to get out the video camera, so our phones had to do for these. They both happened on Friday. Gavin has been playing with a recorder for about two days. Thursday he tried his hardest to figure out how to make sound, but it just didnt work out. On Friday, he finally figured it out. He was so proud of himself, every time he was able to make some noise, he would just giggle and giggle.

The second video came just a few minutes later. Tiffany decided to see if he would walk, since he was in an energetic mood. He actually did take some steps, quite a few times. We have seen him take one, maybe two steps at a time, but he was taking three or more at a time. He was so happy and proud of himself. I love to see him do so well, and be so happy about it.

This last video is a little better quality. We found a little t-ball set at shopko this weekend, and thought it would be fun to let Owen and Tyson try it out indoors. We took a while to show them how to do it, then they really took off by themselves. They had a ball, and it was cute to see their personalities shine through.

Sandpoint Trip, Pt. 2

Since we got back from Sandpoint last week, and its been a while since we posted, this one will be kind of long. The vacation was great, but we got off to kind of a rocky start. The day before we left, as soon as Owen woke up, he threw up all over in his bedroom. Fearing that he may have had a flu, or even the swine flu, he watched him pretty carefully the rest of the day. He acted just fine, no fever, no more complaints. We figured he had just gotten too warm in his room or something, or he ate something that didn't agree with him. We left the next day, and he seemed fine. We were doing good, making great time, and about an hour and a half away Tyson threw up in the car. We pulled over and cleaned him up, but it was obvious he still didn't feel well. As we were driving through Coeur d'Alene, in the middle of construction (it was bad, we were hardly moving) he threw up again (this time, mostly in a bowl we had prepared for any problems). When we got there, it began a pandemic. Tiffany got sick the next day, so did Gavin. Then Tricia, then ken, then Kaleb. All with vomiting, some with diarrhea. Paula had some naseua, and I (Clint) had some diarrhea a day or so after everyone else, but we fared far better than anyone else. The only good news is that everyone was only sick for about 12 hours or less when they got it, it hit hard and it hit fast. It was just a miserable 12 hours.

When Gavin threw up, it was so bad because we never knew when it would come. He would be happy and smiling, and then just drench you with puke. This is a picture of me after he threw up on me. Not only did he get on my shirt, but I tried to pull him away from me so he wouldn't get dirty, but as i pulled him, he grabbed my shirt, pulled it away from me, and vomited directly onto my chest. Thanks Gavin.

Well, even though I made it sound really bad, we actually did have a lot of fun. The fireworks are always good there, and we were able to see a lot of family and friends we don't see very often. The boys loved being able to run and frolic at Grandma and Grandpas house. Any time they get somewhere bigger than our tiny living room, they just run and run and run. Here are some pictures of them enjoying the outdoors.

I was surprised how much Gavin enjoyed the grass. Tyson and Owen were not huge fans at this age.

Owen saw Tyson doing that, and thought maybe he was missing out. He thought it was kind of funny himself.

I love this picture of Gavin. I know he has a great smile, but he looked so cute when he pulled this pose. I don't see this side of Gavin too often, but it looked pretty cute.

Grandpa took the boys on a walk out on some paths he made in his field. Tyson and Owen love to go and look at all the flowers, trees, grass, bugs, etc... While we were out on a walk, Tyson was pretending to be an airplane.

Owen and Tyson picked some flowers for Grandma on our walk. Owen wanted to hold them all, and he looked pretty cute.

During our stay, we took a few walks, there is just so much pretty stuff to see there. On our way towards Sandpoint, I saw this sign and it made me laugh. I guess this is either because of the bad economy, or an out of control cat population, or both.

This was pretty neat. As we were coming back from our walk, Tiffany heard something in the bushes, and we found this baby fawn. We approached it slowly, but we couldnt see the mother. We took a few more steps, then we saw the mom running away from it. Not wanting to cause too much of a disturbance, we took a few more steps, and got a somewhat decent picture. He was a cute little guy, just kind of sat there. Wish I could have gotten a better one, but he looked kind of scared.

These pictures are from Green Bay, one of the rocky beaches along the lake Ponderay. It is gorgeous there, even though the water is absolutely freezing. We try to go up at the warmest part of our trip so we can at least make it in up to our ankles. It also has a great collection of skipping rocks along the shore.

I love the view from some of the upper cliffs. it was a great day to be out and about.

This is one of the cliffs that people jump off of. It is about 50 ft or so at the highest point, and the lower jumping area is about 25 ft. We saw a few people preparing to jump off, and I was able to catch the braver of the two doing a front flip on his way down. As he came up he yelled "i'll need another beer before I do that again!"

Kenny was the only brave one in our group that would jump. He opted not to do a front flip. I don't blame him.

We had a great time in Sandpoint, and the best part was just being able to see everyone and enjoy good company. Now we are just trying to get back in the groove of everyday life. At least there is no school yet.

Fun Outside and In

well clint had the day off today so we went for a little nature walk. there was only one duck so we fed it, it was one lucky duck to get all that bread to itself. this was cute the boys threw the bread at the same time.

This is our new car we are loving having a car we can rely on.
We have been having lots of rain showers and one day while it was pouring down rain this pretty rainbow appeared. I liked how the clouds were.
After church the boys zonked out this is how we found them I wonder what they were doing before the fell asleep.
The pool has been fun this year, my boys dont really like swimming but they love sprinklers so this is a happy medium they think it is a drinking fountain.

Family Pictures in Idaho

Since the pictures on our wall are starting to get old, we thought we ought to take some good ones of the boys to hang up on our wall. I decided to try and make them all look about the same, and really do them well, since I often just clean them up enough to make them presentable. I think most of these turned our really well, so I thought I would share them.

This is one of the only family pictures we have with Gavin in it. We have a lot of him and the boys, but not all of us together. The boys all did great sitting for this picture.

Gavin did pretty good at taking pictures. He is a very smiley little boy. Even while getting a third tooth on the bottom. Here is Owen trying out Tysons patented head tilt. Although I didn't want them posing that way, it turned out pretty cute.

Tyson has a great smile, but sometimes for pictures he hams it up a bit. He toned it down a lot on this picture, and his personality came through. I loved this area for taking pictures, but there were a lot of ants by the barn, and the boys were more concerned about them then looking cute for pictures. They got a cute little moment here though.
this picture would be a lot better with me (Clint) out of it, but at least Tiffany is there to brighten it up.
This was my favorite picture of all the ones we took. I really like to see them all just being themselves and having fun with each other.

our trip to idaho

We just got home this week from Idaho, and although there is a lot we haven't blogged about, we thought we ought to get these recent pictures and stories up. We got to spend Memorial weekend in Sandpoint this year. Our trip served a few purposes. One, it's an excuse to get away for a while. Two, we went up to see Tiffanys family, we don't get to see some of them too often. Three, we bought a car from Tiffanys Grandpa (we are trying to sell our old Honda now). It is a 2002 Honda Accord. We are really excited about it. Tiffanys mom drove back with us so no one had to be by themselves in the van with all three boys.
The trip was excelent. We really enjoyed seeing everyone and catching up. During our week, I took a lot of pictures, trying to document some of the events, as well as get some good pictures of our family (we havent done family pictures in a long time, and most of the photos in our house are out of date). Here are some that I was able to get.

Here is most of the family. The boys loved being outdoors in Sandpoint. I think they were outside at least 5 hours every day.

Here are Tyson and Owen helping to make breakfast. They have both been very good helpers lately, and they like to be involved in everything thats going on.
Owen and Caleb really liked jumping on the neighbors trampoline. They were much more enthused than Tyson. Although Tyson is more outgoing normally, he gets very afraid of things. We finally got Tyson on the trampoline, but it didnt last long. You can tell by his face that he's not too excited about it.

While trying to take some good portraits of the kids, we got a few pictures that cracked us up. They came up with some interesting poses. I love Gavins face here. Below is Owen doing his face at the same age Gavin is. It must be a family trait.

Tyson always cocked his head, thinking it was more artistic that way, or something. This is an extreme example of his interesting technique.
Tiffany and Tricia wante some sister pictures, and i thought this one turned out pretty well.
Its been a long standing joke that Grandpa Chapin is always asleep while holding children. Though he really wasnt asleep, this adds to the long line of pictures we have of him with his eyes closed holding a child.
Grandma Chapin loves being able to get the grandkids together. Here are they on the swing on the front porch.
We had a really good time being able to see everyone, and just being able to relax. We will have more pictures of our trip, and we will try to be better about keeping everyone up to date.

The Tree

Well the finally did it. we new it was coming. Our tree has been slowly dieing since we moved in and so they cut it down this last week. they actually took out both of our front yard trees. We are really sad about it but they promised new trees. so we posted a little tribute to our trees. We will post pictures when they get the new ones put in.

They pretty much destroyed our lawn and they accidentally broke up the cement rings around them.

We will have more post to come soon with pictures of the boys.

Clints Photography Final Project

So for my photography class, our final assignment is to take 3 to 5 pictures to tell a story. The only real requirement for the content of the pictures is that it has to have a beginning, a middle, and an end. I think this meets those requirements, but I just wanted to see if there is something I could change to make the pictures better. Im not a phenom when it comes to photoshop, but I can do some things. So if you have any ideas to make these better, please let me know.

Easter Weekend & More

Ok I know I am a little partial to what I might think but I think I have the cutest kids in the world. We got them matching suits. This is them easter morning in there suits. ( we told them the easter bunny is coming after church. not that they really knew what I was talking about)
This is them when they got home from church. Tyson went strait for the candy he kept sneaking it after I told him that was enough. but he is not a very good sneak he kept coming and showing me what he had in his mouth after the fact.

Searching for easter eggs. we had both hard and fake but a lot of our hard boiled eggs were smashed up after the dying of the eggs.

Daddy pulling them in the wagon, I think he makes a good horse. At least the boys think so.

Every year for easter clints family has a BIG easter party. All the grand kids get to go fishing. Grandma and Grandpa spoil them with tons of gifts. The boys had so much fun. it is nice that they are finally starting to understand what is going on.

They also do a big easter egg hunt. It was so funny watching them find eggs .
Just cute Gavin. He got a sucker that he actaully got open so that didnt last long. (You can see the two teeth he got.)

The boys were asleep upstairs so I decided to do gavins bath in the kitchen sink. I think he is a bit to big for it now but he had fun.

We colored the eggs then dyed them they did really good this year no spills but lots of cracked eggs.
Oh and our neighbor had her baby so I made her a diaper cake. I think it turned out pretty cute though you cant see everything in the picture.

Confrence weekend pics

These are just some pictures that were taken over conference weekend. we spent a lot of time at my sisters and clints brothers house. The boys love there cousins and it was really good to see family. my parents were in town so we had a lot to eat and a lot of fun.

Gavin just being cute as always, he is such a happy baby.

Here are the boys in there elmo and cookie monster outfits. They are so funny they pretend to be monsters and chase eachother around and the other one runs up and says IM SCARED,over and over.

Right Before we left the boys were getting really tired and ty was not being careful on the stairs like he should have been, I Think he was trying to ride the stick horse down the stairs and fell. He got a pretty good looking rug burn or wall burn we are still not quite sure what happened. He cried all the way home poor baby it looks like it hurts.

Clint has been taking a photography class this semester so we have been getting a ton of pictures taken of the boys for that class. This is a little photo shoot he did with gavin at 6 months old. we were just messing around with lighting and stuff.

Gavin and his EEG

Well, this Friday Tiffany and I took Gavin to get his EEG and MRI. He did very well with the whole thing, although he was not the happiest to be sleep deprived (we woke him up at 5:30 to feed him, and he didnt get to sleep until after he was hooked up for the EEG.) He was very happy, and he did a pretty good job through it all. We forgot our camera in the car, but luckily we had our phones on us, so we thought we would show some pics of the EEG. The MRI dosen't really work for pictures, plus he was asleep the whole time.

Here the nurse is applying the little sensors, this was probably the worst part for him.
Here he s with everything hooked up. He didnt seem to mind too much, surprisingly.
The nurse finshes up wrapping all the sensors with a cloth. I forgot how time consuming this whole process is. Here he is just laying back. Im so glad he is a happy baby
For the procedure, I had to hold him as he fell asleep. He was much happier at that point. Plus he got to nap. The rest of the day went really well.
For being an unfortunate experience, we were glad to get some pictures, documenting the experience. He seems to be doing fine still. We will update you on the results later.
